Very sad sight. I dont understand the mentality of some of these people.

Im not a biker for example but if for whatever reason I had a famous/collectable bike sitting in my garden I certainly wouldnt let it rot.

Nope never driven one but have driven plenty of other exotic/expensive cars. Hell I've owned 4 BMW M3's and still have an M3. Not to mention I live in one of the most expensive zip codes in America. Half my friend own ferraris, carrier gt's, ford gt's etc' the 308 is known for being a pos. Look them up on eBay they are super cheap......
Sounds suspiciously like a keyboard warrior to me... rolleyes

Same moron said:
Yea $25-30k is really cheap IMO for a Ferrari, I just said by Ferrari standards it's known as being not so good which isn't saying all that much cause a "good" Ferrari is still one of the most un-reliable cars ever.
Same moron said:
It's not uncommon for these cars to need $10-15k repairs....Oil changes cost $1-2k.....
He's an idiot. A complete idiot!

Firstly, do you think they've got their 'POS' comments mixed up with the Fiat 308 version?

Secondly, isn't that a 328 in the photo? I'm no Ferrari expert but it looks like one to me.

An oil change can cost $1-$2k if you know take it to a dealer who sees you are mentally deficient and ticks the "tuck this muppet for an extra monkey" box.

"Strong words. Have you driven one? What would you prefer (same era)."

"Yes... They are kinda turdy... How about a DMC instead... "

Err... DMC in terms of Delorean?

Yes but bear in mind that americans wouldn't know good handling if it dressed up in a huge clown suit, carried a huge sign saying "good handling" and stood on a chair shouting "good handling"!

The DeLorean was widely known to be flawed as it was designed by lotus to be mid engined, and John DeLorean wanted to fit his golf clubs in the back so he made them change it to rear engined, which destroyed its handling balance. Its that kind of attitude that makes people say "The 308 was a POS". Even the 308 Dino which isn't highly regarded is still a fantastic car. The 80's 308/328 GTS are supposed to be really good cars. If you can find someone who'll service them properly. Which American's probably won't.

The Delorean was interesting, a novelty because of the doors and the Back to the Future films, but by no means an actual sports car in the same class.

That's the kind of statement made by someone who learns everything from Hollywood.

Ha! The bloke who's qualified to talk about Ferraris because he owns an M3. What a fking tool. And the car itself, criminal behaviour IMO.

Grrr... I would probably be the happiest guy for a while if I even got to spend a day with a car like that, and people leave them outside just like that... furiouspunch

I have no idea why, but I don't like the term 'exotics' being used with cars. Doesn't sound right to me.
