Hi folks,

who has the rose jointed suspension fitted and maybe who can tell me which he would recommend, I have no intention of racing the car, but it might see rounds on the Nordschleife. My old one has the urethane red bushings with no negatives so far.

Rosejoint is perfect, but you need to reweld the chassis before you go to the track on the pick up points!

I heard that before and Jeff had a broken pick up once with his 1000hp car, so it is really up to what you demand from the chassis. not what I have in mind.....
Since the enforcment of the pick ups is not a big deal when you receive the chassis, I will just do it and then forget about it.

hi kyle,

exactly why I was bringing up that question, road is what I am looking for and maybe some visits to the nordschleife, with my current car I could not see any disadvantages from the urethane solutions....I have seen you can by protections for the rose joints i am worried that they need lubrification from time to time and they are exposed to the dirt all the time ?

Hi guys: I run hiem joints on my upper pickups in front. I did this when I converted the front upper a arms to allow for easy camber, toe, and king pin angles. Anyway, if you are going to run these type of joints I strongly suggest running the rubber seals that are available that keep out any dirt. The other item worth mentioning is the special washers that should be used in these setups, so that if the ball comes out of its socket it is still retained by the washer. Otherwise the a arm and upright become independant of each other and you will A. crash or B. if you are lucky only tear up several thousand dollars worth of body work. lEE
