Would it be worth trying to sell it privately?

My dad is trading in his 2009 Mazda 3 1.6 Takuma (around 10000miles) in metalic black, Still in very very good condition. Still got warranty, full mazda service history.

The garage have offered him £7000 against the new car. Seems pretty fair trade in to me, but do you think I could get more for it privately? I could buy it for £7k and try to make a profit...

What do you think?

Yeah going by the other trade ads it is low, do you think I could get £8k if I sold privately?

No harm trying - PH is free, and an online advert on autotrader. No harm asking someone like WBAC.Com, but be warned that you will be hit for a million pounds iff for every stone chip.
