So Ive got to take out my 2.9 V6 out of my Ford as the core plugs need replacing. While its out any tips on what else I should look to replace/improve on the engine, thanks alot.

Try posting in the TVR S forum, they use the 2.8 & 2.9 Cologne V6 and I'm fairly sure there will be a few who have gone through these hoops.

This would be a really good time to remove the sump and change the bearing shells on the rods and mains.

I did exactly that myself, also fitted ARP rod bolts while doing the job.

Get the Turbo-Technics upgrade spec, and do it. I had an XR4x4 280 a few years back. Bloody lovely engine!!
