It's a bank holiday and the sun is out and the wedge is in bits! Just after some moral support, only driven 600 miles since bought it last june, admittely in need of light resto. Working my way through, done brakes, done shoxs, done springs, done front track rods and ball joints then .....

Oh a simple cam change turns into a nightmare!
Old cam had two profiles completely round, nevermind explains lack of power, compression test showed extremely high on first cylinder, and revealed the other seven were the same! Oops couple of valves probablt burnt too!
Never mind off with the heads ! Praying they don't need a shave again ,hoping composite gaskets go some way to reduce compression. At least i'm finding out the mods that have been made in its life. Lets hope she ROOSTS when the bucket of bits are back together
(praying the cam will be the ticket to complement the mods already made). Then I can get out and meet some of you guys.

PS if your heading to the coast this weekend for a blat and your going past Norfolk Lavender, give your wedge a bootful to remind me why I love em so much!!!!!
