What a brilliant day out!

Always thought ASCAR/NASCAR might be a bit boring but you need to see it first hand.

Great to see some more PH'ers and special thanks to the British weather system which left a bit of damp on the track!

This ensured that about 25 TVR's graced the Rockingham track for 5 or 6 laps in front of the crowds, to help dry it out before racing commenced!

The husband is trying to polish off the sweaty thigh marks as we speak ! Can't believe he encouraged them - must be grounds for divorce ....

You know, we're going to have to get customised PistonHeads T-shirts done. At least then we'd have a chance of identifying ourselves in a crowd.

What a day, Thanks Dennis and the Northants TVRCC. Good to meet some of you and put names to faces. Great to actually get out and do a few laps, quite scary when you get near the WALL even at 80 ish. Good to get to chat with the drivers and learnt a bit off them about AScar and the Trucks.

Like some others said thought it might be a bit boring watching oval racing but no way was it especially the last race as they constantly swapped the lead for mant a lap.

I have a few pics DAYSOFTHUNDER

Indeed, excellent day today and for all the family - Thanks Dennis.

Great to finally meet you Ballistic and Mr & Mrs Blue Cerbera & family!

Seems the ladies lurve the TVR curves and visa versa.
The amount of people that took photos of these moments will keep Boots busy for a while!

How I was allowed to add these accessories to my car without getting a slap from
Mrs GCerbera I'll never know!

Certainly could blind you!

Anyone see Skid Carrera from the No. 11 Freephone Legs trying to hitch a ride in
my Cerbera?

He was sitting on the door hanging out the window but decided it was too dangerous with
nothing really to hang on to.

Dangerous? This man drives a car at brick walls at 180mph for a living!

What a wicked day!

DENNIS - Thankyou so much for the opportunity!

Fanatastic to drive on the track........"anyone want to help dry the track out?".....IS THE POPE F***ING CATHOLIC!

Didnt get any tasty ladies in my car....except for Mrs Coach....tastey enough for me! She was the short ginger lady and I was the fat geeky geezer in the Pearl Yellow Chim.

Photos in the week as we used the 35mm SLR mostly so we will get them developed and wazzed onto disk.

Oh - Scott - thanks for the use of the mini bucket - got to get me one of those.

Will post on this about around Thursday/Friday

Coach

PS - Face is rather tender from too much sun. Gods revenge for me lusting afetr the (older) Cheerleaders!
