TVR Friendly MOT near Reading?

Has anyone got any recommendations for a TVR friendly MOT place near Reading? I've taken the precats out (still got the main cat in) so I need to find somewhere who understands that the car needs to be relatively hot before they test the emissions etc.

Also needs to be somewhere that can do the test while I wait, or somewhere that's been used by many others and can be trusted with my Chim as i'm in the process of selling it!

Any suggestions?

A friend of mine always uses Hook Service station, behind the Texaco garage on the A30 in Hook.
He has been sympathetic to his TVR and Lotus over the years.

I always took my Griff to Longshot Lane MOT in Bracknell, had no probs with noise or small plate on front.

I always use Thames Valley MOT off Portman Road. Very sensible with regard to emissions and testing. I used to take a Skyline GTR to him that would usually struggle to pass a regular test.

I have the same pre cats removed and have never had a problem at White hill Garage, behind the shell garage on the way to Henley before you go down Remenham Hill.

These are good guys. Used them for some servicing in the past and was my first port of call for MOT last year but they couldn't fit me in.

Plenty of options here so will get calling around tomorrow! Pete, i've emailed you about the wokingham one as that's probably the closest but it's good to know there's a few recommendations locally.
