Is it actually a really dark blue? Rolls Royce blue if it's the one I'm thinking of. If yes then it has been owned by several PHers.

My mistake it does look like a really dark blue. I think that Racing Green may have sold it late 2008 time?

Ah, so it is that one. Sold originally by the TVR dealer near Exeter. It is an early 2004 car.

Hi there,

I think that's my old car. But I'm having a slow-brain day, and can't remember my old car reg! But pretty sure that was it. I can't check at the moment either, as I'm away in the US with work.

It's actually a Bentley colour - a very dark metallic blue. Sapphire blue, I seem to recall.

It's had 4 previous PH owners - I was number 2. I bought it from Drivestyle in Harrogate, and owned it for about 2 years before I sold it through Racing Green. It is a 2005 car. I added the TVR Power exhaust.

A guy called Kevin Powell was the first owner (he's a PHer but not on the forums much), then a chap from Nottingham bought it from you/Racing Green and owned it for a year or so.

Kev was a former Audi TT owner like we were, then we kept in touch. He got rid not long after being run off the road in a road rage incident (previous owners will know damage/what was repaired). Also Pete - when I absent-mindedly sold you mine for a while this one was also for sale, the buyer came to view mine, then spent £3-£k more for this particular car from RG. Nowt so queer as folk

Thanks for the info guys. Glad to hear that its been owned by PHeders. Having spoken to the previous owner ZippyTT I am happy that its a real good-un.
It should arrive sometime next week.. Glad to be back in the TVR fold after so long.

Afternoon all

I bought her new in Aug 2005 from Peninsula TVR in Exeter, I sold it to Drivestyle in May 2006. The colour is called "Bentley Sapphire". Looks pretty much black, but is actually a pearl midnight blue. When the sun shines on it it has a pearl fleck.

Here it is on the week I picked her up:



I was run off the road in a road rage incident, but all the damage was mild cosmetic and a bent rear wishbone. The occurence shook me up though and I eventually got rid.

Im the guy Targamara mentioned - bought it from RG and eventually sold it to a chap in Cornwall ( the current owner) who I saw had it in the classifieds before xmas. V. happy with it and had no problems at all. Yes did pay more for it than Trefors..... and it was worth it
