What sticks in everyones mind when it comes to wedges.

Mine is when Dixiebabes bought his immaculate 350i and brought it up our house.

We went for a blast out and he power slided it across a sand covered Seaton Carew carpark with me in the passenger seat laughing his head off saying " your going to get one arent you "

Thank you Dixie, you changed my life, and i owe you big time.thumbup

This can be coupled with breaking down on almost every run i have been on, but then again i like to get my monies worth out of the insurance cover with breakdown and recovery included.

He calls himself a Wedgeerman.

I remember at BNG a guy asked him about the SX and he reeled everything off without taking a breath, he loves em.

He is my eldest boy, loves the wedges inside out.

He loved the SX the most, probably because we never broke down in it.

How is going.

WOW WOW WOW, gobsmacked is not the word.

Long story why we named the lad Cullen, but mainly it boiled down to my love of football and its meaning in Gaelic is Beautifull Boy.

Well if your Cullen gets as much pleasure from the SX as our Cullen did he will love it.

Feather knocked over, cannot believe it.

Cullen is a family surname on my wife's side of the family, and while we were in the uk/Scotland we went to the town of Cullen, before we had kids, so as a bit of family history we brought the name back.My other sons name is Dale same thing on my side of the family

That is bizzare, what are the chances, our boys are the only Cullen's I know of, do you know of othrs?

Part of the reason as i said for us naming our Cullen was as i said to do with football, my favorite players surname was also Cullen, this gets more weird.

We have met another Cullen on holiday in Newquay a few years ago, his restaraunt was named CULLENS, i have a photo somewhere will dig it out.

Also been to Cullen in Scotland, legend ice cream palour.

I was at Back Home '97, having lunch in the hotel, turned round to see if I recognised anyone and Trever was sat right behind me. Brief exchange of pleasantries before I turned back to the wife who uttered the immortal words "Who's the old feller?".

Mmm..Yep there are loads of wierd and wonderfull things that happen as a result of this forum..Im beginning to think its the wedge blood running through our veins...Thy wedge brotherhood hath arisen from their darketh mythical quarters to ride thee wedge beast to wedgedom..Whereth they shall drink as brothers and acquainteth with thy new blood who rideth the beast..But beware any other beast who rideth into thy wedgedom as thee will be slaine..Sorry..me eyes turnt black and me hair turned white..Its all back to normal now...I think.

Two moments come to mind.

The first was when I started the wedge for the first time. I bought it as a non runner and hadn't heard or seen any other 350i's and when it started I had the biggest smile.

The second was the first time I drove it and loved how it sounds when you mash the throttle to the floor and change up through the gears.
