Will there be more cars coming for GT5?

With so many cars missing, and so many new ones on their way, I was just wondering if there will be a mass update to add more cars to GT5? Im thinking the new LP700, 599GTO, Pagani Huayra are amongst the more obvious due to be launched.

I would think DLCs are almost inevitable.

Maybe not though chaps. After all, GT6 is in development using the same engine, so perhaps they're going to focus on that and actually do the things we wanted them to do in 5 (i.e. more race specing choices; more premium cars; better crash/damage simulation; better sounds etc).

Who knows though. I'm quite pleased with the latest update...even if it didn't actually do all that much...some nice aesthetic changes

There was this rumour of pikes peak being in it after Rodney Mullen said it was quite tricky, Sony then pulled the video. I think alot of content may be on the disc and just need an update to unlock. Hope we do get some new cars and tracks. El Capitan and Midfield Raceway for example!

Personally I think the game is flooded with supercars. I would love a few Passats, Mondeos, my Octy vRS etc. Won't happen mind.

Those Japanese racing cars from Toyota, Nissan etc and the Formula X1 bks or whatever it is called do nothing for me
I'd prefer thraping the life out of a bog standard 320d or something similar.

I agree with you, I got so far and then was stuck until I got one of these japanese "super" racers. To many races with these stupid quick machines.

Theres alot of interesting cars that should be in the game imo, Focus RS, Audi TT-RS, Audi RS5, Mercedes Black Series', TVR Sagaris, Ferrari 360/CS, 335d mapped, Aston DBS to name but a few.

Yeah the Skylines are rubbish, I like hundreds of different takes on the Yaris & MX5 though.

I'd like to think they'll have some DLC available at some point in the future, i'd certainly pay (a small fee) for some new interesting new cars. Although i hope to god that doesnt mean we'll get a loads more skyline etc.. all the same but with slightly different decals. They've already said they'll update some of the standad cars into premiums, how many they'll do we can only guess.

Focus RS 02 is definitely in there, I bought one in the UCD

There are about 6 Audi TT variants, one of which is the TT-R touring car

I read that and felt pretty sure he was confused with one of the Eiger tracks. Plenty of comments below seem to think this a rather stupid mix up as well.

I think there are a few "special" cars missing such as some of the above.

I also believe that there aren't enough everyday cars that people actually buy like the 335d. If they included these cars then there could be more series and a slower progress to the top which I think is missing in GT5. GT3 took ages to get up to a high level and more time was spent with family cars, this one took me about an hour or so and I had a GTR.

There are too many super fast jap turbo monsters in the game. Some cars are in there twice or more just under different years.

Don't get me wrong I think this is a truly great game but certain elements need adjusting for GT6 or DLC.

I agree with that. The game itself is truly fantastic I think and in more impressed that I thought I would be with B spec Bob too.

It would be nice however to select a few more 'real life' cars. The brands for this are there VW, BMW, Merc, Peugeot etc but not the cars.
