Hello All,

This one is is in connection with my throttle set up thread and is to do with the overrun valve, which is located on the rear face of the plenum, held in by three allen screws. The bible talks about adjusting the spring tension if your upgrading the fuel regulator, and so on. My question is, has any one "played" around with this on a standard setup and was there any difference to the amount of pops & bangs on the overrun?

Regards Andy

On mine the nut and bolt on the valve was wound right up to the stop, it popped and banged at every chance it got but it was too much for me so I loosened it off a touch and now it only pops and bangs at enthusiastic out of town speeds or if you provoke it by overrunning at high revs in low gears. I think it is nice to have the choice.

This is good news, I was hoping it might have some affect. Think I can feel a few turns of the nut coming up here!
