At Stoneleigh today I was approached by Mr P Sampson from Sheffield who has owned jeeps and now campaigns a diesel Mini Scamp who wanted someone to take his archive of early Jagobilia.
It comprises :
a 1987 Jago brochure,
some advert sheets for the 1985 Jago 25th Anniversary Mk2 Escort van model,
Amendments to the Jago Geep Manual published 11/85 detailing the requirement for side repeater flashers,
Dim dip headlight unit details,
DOT form V355/1 (revised May 1979) Notes on Completion of Vehicle Registration Form V55
Jago Owners Club Constitution
and a sheet entitled "Allyou ever wanted to know about the Jago Owners Club... but were afraid to ask" with an address in Tilehurst, Reading.
He promised to make more available at the Newark Show.
Is anyone interested in building on this???
I still have a copy of my original order form from 1974-ish and a copy of the "Custom Car" feature that fired my enthusiasm for the car.
