4.5 Throttle Pot Set up Help

Hi all, What % do I need to set the throttle pots up at I've see 15% and Between 17% and 19%

if its the same as the 4.2, make sure the cars had good run and a blow out then re-check. if your sure the pots knackered or not set correctly then.

reset the adaptives
wind off throttle stop and disconnected cable so throttles are fully closed
check for play in throttle linkage.
wind stop on and reconnect cable to open throttles to around 17-20
start car and run until warm
idle should be around 1000rpm
adaptives should b equal and around 0
a + adaptive means too much air a - adaptive too little
adjust too suit.

thats just a rough guide off the top of my head, if the search is working search the cerbera section for adaptives and there are some better instructions

I did this after taking advice from here:

After the initial set up I allowed the engine to get really hot. To a point where the throttle linkage expanded causing the adaptives to move away from zero

I then tweaked the throttle pots to bring the adaptives back to zero at around 2K revs

And the car now runs very good when hot, especially at the 2K mark on part-throttle.
