We have been fir the last 5 years and every year got our tickets from different sources.

We were very happy with Speedchills last year, but this year they don't seem to want to supply us with camping passes only, we have to purchase 2 GA tickets aswel. (we like lots of space so have 2 spaces per car, so would have double the amount of GA!!) we are after 6 pitches, any ideas?

The ACO still has some campsites left but they are designated yellow, BJ dairion etc

Try nadine at the Le Mans tourist office she may have some better campsites, worth a try and like the ACO no mark up and no need to by GA's

I'm unable to help with Blue Nord but I've got 5 pitches for Karting Nord. Drop me an email or give me a call if that's enough space for you. I'm sure we can work something out.

Cheers,

Hi Steve

We (Speed Chills) hate not being able to help people out but the 10 passes you wanted was too big a chunk out of a limited allocation that we have for that site to let go on their own. Anne-Marie escalated your request to me and I had to make that call.

For 2012, get your mates who are ACO members, to dive into the early access to tickets that the ACO give to grab your camping tickets too.

For 2011, if access to our Private Members Clubs at the Esses, Bleu Sud and Beausejour (http://www.speedchills.com/le-mans-24-hours/speed-chills/members-club) interests you, we might still be able to help as there is some Bleu Nord allocation there.

Cheers

Neil

Try Tickets-2-u, they too operate the 2 GA per camping ticket arrangement but may be wiling to just charge a surcharge on the GA rather than you purchase the whole GA ticket. I also think they are cheaper.

Tickets-2-u
General Admission £70 x 2
Bleu Nord £69
Postage £6
TOTAL £215

Speed Chills
General Admission £65 x 2
Bleu Nord £69
Postage FREE
TOTAL £199

Saving with Speed Chills = £16

This saving won't come as a surprise to our legion of happy customers smile

Worth noting also that we do not enforce a 2 GA policy, as a general rule people can book what they want...conditions are only placed on large orders and are discretionary.

Neil,

Thanks for your responses. We were very happy with the service, and will mist probably come to you this year.

As usual with all the organising you always get let down, so looks like we won't be needing so many pitches. I will drop you a line once numbers have been finalised

Many thanks

Hi, ACO are still selling Bleu Nord direct if you're a member - just bought one this week. The camping is not discounted but is still cheaper than agencies and the savings on GE tickets might make it worthwhile joining?

No scrap that, you can only buy 2 camping passes.

Oops, I stand corrected, that will teach me not to do my homework!
