bmw e36 328i sport rear ride height

A Little help please.

I have had my rear shocks and springs changed as one snapped spring)

Obviously the car is 12 years old but having come back the rear seems to be sitting alot higher than i remembered and like.

Is there a choice of springs for the rear? (is it possible they fitted the wrong ones?)

Does anyone know the correct (standard height) i presume from the centre of the wheel to the arch?!?

any help would be greatly appreciated
