Maison Blanche vs. Tertre Rouge?
Discussion
Need to make a decision before it's too late (a bit off the pace this year). Have stayed at Karting Nord, Beausejour and the White Rabbit "secret" site before but fancy a change!
Will probably be on my own this year and am looking for somewhere friendly and full of enthusiasts rather than chavs. Karting seems to have gone downhill since I first went there in 2006, so I thought of MB as the "classic" campsite to stay in. Then I started reading about how wonderful the Tertre Rouge ACO site is. I've never really noticed it before, anyone with first hand knowledge know how it compares with MB?
Cheers

I have stayed at almost all of the original campsites in the past but stuck with TR for the last 10 years, this is the normal TR site and not the newer ones with team langistine or any other specialist site.
TR is small and still unallocated so you pick were you camp but by Thursday the choices may not be that good, Full of old time Le man people of many nation's and not to party/party but always a few hot spots to which the more friendly people gravitate, never any trouble and good security.
Only one draw back, camping tickets are hard to get hold of as very limited numbers and unlike MB and Houx very few get into the hands of the touts who always seem to be selling on E Bay. MB, houx and TR are the sites people seem to try once and then use year after year.
