Vacuum & Breather hose sizes needed on a MK3 8v GTi?

Hi, picked up a cheap 98 MK3 Golf GTi 8v with the usual stalling problem.

Noticed split in a vacuum hose and the breather hose from crankcase to black box on top of engine.

Anyone know the sizes for these?

Spoke to local dealer and they want silly money for a roll of each.
