Hi chaps

The black rubber seal along the passenger side of the removable roof section has come away (about 6 inches). Is it OK to just stick it back together with some epoxy or should I be using a special glue?

Any advice greatly appreciated!

Cheers

I think you'll find that it has come out of the channel! There’s a little "T" section that runs in the channel, the seal can be pulled out and replaced if need be.
I replaced mine when the round section got a bit flat.
I haven't bothered to stick it back it just sits in the channel.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, same happened to mine. Like Al said, I just slid the extrusion back into the slot. Hope to see you in Belper next week.

Thanks guys - wish it was that simple. The I channel bit is still there, it looks as if the seal has split in half and been glued before - will take piccies and post if I can so I can show you what I mean

Get a new piece!

Most TVR garages will stock it, only a few quid a metre.

Infact i still got my old piece somewhere, if I can find it you can have it.
