My motor is in a movie !!

Went to the preview yesterday, looked good, V8 rumble sounded fantastic in the cinema,
Here's how;
Last October I was asked by one of the girls who used to work for me (before redundancy struck her down), whether her brother (who also used to work for us in the summer) could use my V8S in a movie short he was producing. I gave it due consideration (all of a nano-second) and so in October last year we ended up at a disused old peoples home in Sway, deep in the New Forest for a night shoot.
The film is a sub-12 minute short with a plot line around a serial/contract killer who's victims come back to torment him at night, hence the title Nightmares.

One of the victims is an accountant who has a contract put out on him, and it’s the accountant who drives the tiv. He arrives home, pulls up outside his remote house, pops the boot open, goes round to collect his briefcase from the boot and gets shot four times in the chest as he gets to the passenger side door and five more in the back as he hits the deck.
So you get a tracking, rolling shot of him pulling up out front of his house, the engine running whilst he pops the boot, the eerie silence as he kills the engine and then overhead and side shots as he makes his way round the car with a full side shot as he gets creamed by the killer - all in all about 90 secs of footage - which means the car features in 10% of the movie, which is better than the Tusc in Swordfish I suppose.
I have requested any spare footage or stills showing the motor, but as yet have not been successful. If I do I'll post them here and maybe see if Sprint want then for an article etc....
The movie will be hawked round various film festivals in the coming months as the Director, Producer etc try to find some funds to advance their careers. They both got distinctions in their college courses.
It will be at the Soho film festival (late July) amongst others, so any PH'ers who work in the film business and want to contact the guys, feel free to contact me through the e-mail in my profile, and I’ll pass it on.
If you see it advertised anywhere, go and spend 12 minutes in the movie house, its a good short, though a tadd violent for those of a nervous disposition. The ultimate plan is it may become the framework they build round for a full feature.
I'm on first refusal if they get any more work needing "exotic" cars.
