First Drive Post Rebuild!
Discussion
Picking the Tuscan up on sat after a full Power rebuild. Initially went in for a suspect halt time bearing but not suprisingly the costs started to mount!
-Full engine rebuild
-New battery
-Gaz gold shocks
-New Anderson connector
-Replacement wheel hub
-Front discs skimmed
-MOT
Can't wait to get hold of it but reakon keeping it under 3000rpm for 1st 1000 miles may be frustrating!

Its not too hard to keep it under 3000 rpm as the engine will feel quite tight (mine started to feel looser at about 2000 miles)
Remember it needs thick mineral oil for the first 1000 miles
As a matter of interest how much did the charge you for the suspension work?
Need to book mine in to Power for a £6k service and might get suspension done at the same time

Piece of mind for the next few years with their warrenty to cover you. Enjoy.
Was told to drive the car normally after my rebuild and use all the rev range as the engine may loose power further up the rev range if not used. Obviously didnt take it to the red line or anything but just used it with a bit of extra care.
Running very nice now.
The grin does hurt the face after a while through

Did you go for the std rebuild or opt for a 4.3/4.5?
Went for standard rebuild - plenty of BHP for me although I did consider 4.3. The bottom end needed a bit of extra attention so it cost me a tad more than the figure for the basic rebuild on the Power website but hopefully will be worth it!David
