Aventador LP700-4 at Geneva

Is anybody else going to see the LP700 at the Geneva Motor Show. I am going next week and cannot wait to see it again in the flesh. Having seen the car last November at the preview it is amazing how much I have forgotten.

I am hoping to dig for more information when I am there such as, is there any truth to the rumor about delays to customer cars due to paint issues. Having had my spec submitted to the factory some time ago, I am dying to get some clarification as to when my car might be delivered.

SAdly I have to wait until the 8th for my first view but have a stand pass so expecting to get up close to it. Anybody know what colour(s) car(s) are on the stand?

Haven't seen anything about it, but I'd hazard a bet the red one will be.

Likely along with 2 other Lambos; LP560 Bicolore or LP570 Superleggera and perhaps the Sesto Elemento, maybe?

If anyone is feeling generous, could you send me a few hi-res pictures of the LP700 to be used in the Lamborghini club mag, as i am unable to get there. As pictures at the show have more of a human touch, than the press release. And of course they will be credited to you, and i'll sort you out a mag if they get printed !

Sorry, I read it on Teamspeed and it was supported by people who appear to be trustworthy. However I cannot vouch for accuracy!

We can submit specs to the factory but no specs are going 'confirmed' into build at all yet. My clients will see the cars at Geneva and I expect they will need to confirm the specs fairly rapidly after that. I THINK the first cars are June build, July delivery.

Many thanks indeed for this information, it is always good to know what is going on! Seems strange that I was asked to finalise my spec some time ago when they are not being confirmed by the factory

Exactly. Yet there are still people on forums claiming confirmed delivery dates, lol.

Priced at £200k'ish is a materstroke as it will make Mclaren and Ferrari 458 buyers think twice before signing the dotted line. I had just assumed it was going to be a £300k+ car.

Still dont like the looks but price is very interesting.

It's gonna be £247 on the road, plus options...
A nice car is probably £260 - £270k
