Jeremy Clarkson's Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder
Discussion
Clarkson's old Lamborghini is on the market - looks very nice indeed!
The interesting thing about it is that he was (apparently) dared to buy a Lamborghini by James May.
Proof if anything else that they still have the mentality of three school boys.

I'd really love to be able to act on that sort of impulse. I'm assuming he traded it in / sold it when he got the CLK Black.

Impulse buys of cars when you earn £2m+ a year are not so wallet breaking.
I understand Hammonds Morgan is also up for sale. And Mays Porsche was / is....
Still, not bad going though. Kept all of them for a few years when most keep them for months and trade on. Clearly the Lambo had appeal.

That was in Top Gear magazine, the story is that he tries to get people to buy cars with a horrible spec. He said Clarkson's Gallardo should be baby blue with a purple interior and wheels.

I just phoned up about Hammond's - has just sold!
Not a fan of Morgans to be fair, would much prefer a crazy Italian car

I saw the car advertised on their website in February and it was shown in Classic and Sports Car Magazine.
- They have some lovely cars for sale.
"An impressive endorsement of a fantastic supercar.” according to the selling dealer BHP.

ks. People neeed to get over the fact that JC's opinion is just that - he's commented in his column before that members of the public often come up to him and say that they bought a car because he said it was good, and after living with it for a while they don't like it, to which he's asked them why they'd be so stupid to buy a car based on his opinion.
It IS a great car, but not because JC's owned it.

At least he owns up to the fact that his opinion is nothing but bb

I thought he had it for rather a short time, and replaced it with the Ford GT. At the same time as these cars he had an SL55 and then an SLK 55. Since he had the CLK Black I have not heard mention of any other cars (apart from a ? 60's 'Grosser' Merc 600); has anyone else?
He replaced the Ford GT with the Gallardo not the other way round. He doesn't have a fighter jet outside his house. The local council wouldn't let him keep it nor his wife.
