Well, after a fantastic 6 years & 10 months and 18k miles of ownership, I have said goodbye to my Chim this afternoon.

I have had the most brilliant time with the car but it’s time to move on, if only while my ailing back will let me move, and I am sure it has gone to a good home in Steve – if he comes on here, please look after him as well as I’ve been looked after.

I am most grateful for all the help I have been given over the years and hopefully I have been able to pass some of my meagre knowledge back on to newer owners.

Being an essentially a miserable, unsociable git, I haven’t really got to meet anyone in person from the forum but I wish you all the best and hope everyone gets as much enjoyment out of their TVRs as I have.

I may get some work done now instead of constantly logging in during the day.

Thanks again and goodbye, with a slight tear in my eye.

I hope thats not as sad a tale as it reads.
Fortunately the new owner was very cautious so I didn't get a roar of noise as he went.
