Where can i get the proper rear light pods from with all the lamps/bulbs etc or if i purchase the pods off ebay does anybody know any alternative suppliers for the lamps? The kits from SPAutomotive are around £500 i think from memory which i thought was a bit steep.

We made ours ourselves out of a pair of fiesta lights and some fibreglass then fitted some hella lights, like the original zertec afterburners.

I want to know too! Let's get back too the subject. You can get the fibreglassparts from fibreon, but where do these lights come from? Can't be 500 pounds. That's silly. Do you fit the fibreglass and lights from the inside-boot?
There is also the option of going the led route. The quadconversions lightsset. Brighter in the dark, cheaper and you do not ever have to change bulbs.

The lights look spot on for the typhon but i dont think the work with the shape of the Cerb it is a very small low back end unlike the high long back of the typhon. Just my 2p's worth, end of the day its your car and your taste so if you like it go for it.Which is bloody lovely

To convert from Factory Fiesta lamps to the later Factory lights, this what I did.
Parts required-
• A pair of fibreglass pods from Fiberon
• 6 light units (lenses and bulb holders) – Military Land Rover off eBay (2x 3 wire Stop & Tail, 2x Indicator, 1x Fog, 1x Reverse or front side light)
• 2 Reflectors – 96 Fiat Punto from local Fiat dealer
• 2x8 way plug and socket
• Plus wire, insulting tape and bulbs etc
Method-
1. Remove old lights and outer covers
2. Cut off old connectors from wiring loom and fit replacement sockets
3. Trim aperture inside boot to allow pods to fit flush inside the rear panel
4. Bond pods in place and use some sealant to finish off the outside
5. Mask and paint pods to match body colour
6. Bond new lenses and reflectors in place from the outside
7. Refit and seal old outer covers
8. Wire the new blub holders to the new plugs as required for each side
9. Screw bulb holders on to the rear of the new lenses
10. Test and enjoy!

I changed my mind again, i think the Landrover lights look a bit 'dated', so to freshen things up i have bought some of these:
to sit in the quad light moulds, very similar to the units used on some T cars which are these:
The plan is to spray the mould bodycoloured and fit these in, stop/tail, fog, reverse and indicators. Also got some smoked front indicator ones of the same type to change the front indicator units. They are a little smaller than the Landrover ones and a little larger than the T car ones so should look ok.
Will update with pics when i make some progress.
