Got a seized caliper nipple on a 6-pot AP caliper.

Anyone ever had this before and knows of somewhere in the Surrey area that could take a look and try drilling it out?

Have you tried using a bolt/stud extractor on it?

You can buy them from Machinemart etc

Do you have the caliper off the car? If so applying a bit of heat may help shift it.
Apply some decent penetrating oil first, something like Plusgas and allow plenty of time for it to do it's work before you try shifting it.

+1 for trying plusgas the stuff pees all over wd40 and the like!!! Used to use it on my landy spray liberally on bolts I wanted to undo, leave over night spray again when starting to do the work in morning and usually everything would be fine!!

I can get the caliper off the car. not tried attempting it yet - but will grab some of this Plusgas to help out.

Another friend suggested welding a nut on to the top of the nipple, since it has sheared off level with the rest of the caliper... Not sure if this is wise or not though?
