what is the ground clearance like on the gtr? and is the ride height adjustable?

Yes it is adjustable.
Factory settings are 110mm under front axle line 160mm under back axle line.

The settings steve_D quotes are what the factory set my chassis to. However if you have the lowered floor pan, which I think now comes as standard, this is the lowest point of the vehicle. I think my floorpan is about 75mm clear of the ground on the flat. It doesn't sound much but it does clear most speed humps. The biggest problem I have with clearence is the front of the bonnet (and I haven't yet fitted my splitter) when going up or down a ramp. With the overhang from the front wheels it doesn't have to be a very steep ramp before the front starts to scrape.

I experienced similar problems with front clip. Mainly due to a sloping drive and camber on road. The lowest point is the floor pan and it tends to be the bolts holding the seat rail that gound-out. I must check how much they are worn.

Mine's the flat floor pan.

The lowest point will be the chassis rail which the sump sits on, a bit worrying really, as if I ever drove over a brick or something, it could puncture the sump.

Might think about a stainless sump guard at some point.

Would think twice before introducing anything that restricts the airflow around the sump. More heat is removed from the engine by the oil than the water.

I've got the dropped floor pan. Only have ground the seat bolts over those freaking speed bumps they put in mall and apartment parking lots.
Seems like I recall a few of them around Hinckley too.
