Giro Ionos, Bad Hair Day?

I am not a vain person but my new Spesh S-Works lid leaves Corn Rows in my #2 shaven head. It just looks silly/innapropriate at work after a mere 15 min cycle.
I am looking at getting an Ionos and wondered if it would give me a bad hair. I used to have an Atmos which gave no such problem but might as well spend the extra couple of £. The Spesh would then be my designated training lid.

If you're not vain then why would you care?

From experience, all cycle helmets leave red marks on my forehead using the 4:1 rule. This being 15 minutes of riding to work means red marks for an hour, a one hour "scenic route" before work means four hours of redness and a two week cycling holiday in the summer has me wearing a hat until Xmas.

Sounds to me like it doesn't fit correctly, but then again have you tried extra padding or even just wearing a cap under it. Everyones head is different and its worth taking the time to move/add/remove padding and generally adjust helmets.I've had a few giro lids though myself and always found them mega comfortable, far more than other brands, but then I have plenty of hair.

Just don't do what I once did and stick a silicone rubber handlebar grip to your forehead dalek style by squeezing and letting the suction hold it against sweaty skin. Ended up with a perfect circular lovebite between my eyes that lasted a fortnight

It fits just fine. Doesn't feel tight, loose and no pressure points. It just gives me a bad hairstyle
Now on to the Ionos...

My LBS doesn't stock Ionos.

Try taking some waterless shampoo. Leave you with a clean head of hair and (hopefully) no hat marks.

I found helmets to be very specific to my head...didn't like the spesh, didn't like the giro, neither fitted well, I use a MET - your best bet is to find somewhere that stocks and go try one on! Not sure how it's creating patterns on a virtually shaved head though I usually have #3 all over and haven't had these issues
