Body Shop Problems!
Discussion
Tricky situation... if you really wanted to take the car elsewhere now that some work has already been done, you'd probably have to pay for what's been done, thus far, then sue the body shop for the poor standard of work. My recommendation would be to lay your cards on the table with the bodyshop concerned and voice your concerns and dissatisfaction as to the quality of the work done. Give them the opportunity to put things right. If you don't do this and subsequently try to take them to small claims court, it won't look good if you never gave them a chance to make things right. If you do this, you need to be very clear and specific as to what you expect... agree a firm timescale as to when you expect the work to be completed and be clear as to the standard you expect. Point-out what you're unhappy about regarding the work they've already completed.
Best of luck.
