I was on the outside lane of the East Lancs then saw the sign for the M61 1/3 mile to go so I indicate to pull into lane 1. The Prius behind me speeds up to close the gap in lane 1. Probably for fear of the evil gasses coming out of my 4 tail pipes which must be more polluting than 1.

I soon had the last laugh though. I accelerated past 3 cars to get into the next available gap.

My - how he must be fuming.
