Tattoo Concealer

Hey Guys.
I'm not sure whether this was the right place to ask about Tattoo Concealers, but it was either here or the lounge, and we all know what the lounge is like.
Anyway, my question. I have a large Tattoo Sleeve on my right arm. It starts slightly on my hand, then covers my entire arm, up to my shoulder blade, top of shoulder and my neck. I love the Tattoo to bits, but I have a slight issue.
My Niece is having a christening in 2 months time. I would like to buy a concealer to put on so that I look a bit more sensible in the photos. Granted, you will not be able to see it when my suit is on (apart from a tiny part on my neck) but you will when I roll up my shirt sleeves etc. I would ideally like to buy a concealer asap so that I can try it on parts and see how it deals with sweat or what have you. If it turns out they are no good, then I will go without. It's no bother, as I am in no way embarrassed by it.

I don't mind the neck part being revealed too much, as it's more towards the back of my neck, and I will most likely be facing forward in the photos. My only concerns are the parts on my hand and forearm. If it really does rub off easily, then I could always nip to the loo before I plan to take off my jacket and put some on there.

Scarily, yes. Google 'tatjacket' guy I worked with had one, he used it for job interviews etc, think he got it sent from the States but there may be distibuters in the UK now.
I'm a bit confused to why you'd want to hide something that's part of you?
Are you ashamed of it or worried what people will think?
It might well be a kids event but how does that make it any different, unless you have pictures off dismembered children with crosses impaled in them on a background of fire and dragons, for example. It not like tatoos are 18+ to view.

Consideration for the family whose kid is getting christened? His tattoos may be part of him, but that doesn't mean that it's wrong to cover them for the sake of the family and the photos.
Similarly, if I 'wasn't a suit person' I'd still go out of my way to put one on for a friends wedding. It'd be pretty t
ttish to be in the photos wearing shorts and flip flops, insisting that it's just your nature and you're being yourself.

I can understand why you would be a little confused. I am in no way ashamed of my Tattoo or worried of other peoples thoughts about it. Also, the Tattoo is in no way offensive. It's just that during the day, there is going to be a professional photographer there, as well as many other people taking photos. I would like to blend in more when these photos are taken, and I cannot help but think that a great big tattoo that consumes my entire arm would "clash" with the backdrop of a holy church, and people dressed smartly in suits and dresses etc.
To summarize, I am doing it to make myself look a little more adequate for the special day.

Fair do's. When I was about 6yo my family and I went to a wedding. There was a big Maori dude there, from New Zealand obviously, with tattoos over half his face and most of his body (so i found out years later) and apparently when I saw him I stood there frozen and pointing before bursting into tears and hiding under my mums dress. I didn't stop crying hysterically until my mum took me home. Traumatised me for years that did.
So maybe it's best you cover up.
Sadly, people judge other people on their appearance, hence why my friend at work had one. He couldn't get past an interview stage with his tats showing as people judged him to be 'one of those sorts' Once he got the tat jacket and no-one saw the tats, they judged him on his merits, he got a job. It didn't matter that the industry we were in was not dealing with the public and no-one other than his work collegues would see his arm art, presumptions were mad, wrong but thats life.

It's a Miami Vice themed christening. 
It's a good point, but there is going to be an "after party" at a local social club. During that time, I would most likely want to take off my Jacket and roll up my sleeves to feel more comfortable. At least if any photos are taken while I have my sleeves rolled up, my Tattoo will still be covered.
