E46 330i Convertible - Fuel Economy??

Can anyone tell me what their mpg is on a MANUAL version of the 330i Convertible?

Autotrader says 29mpg combined.

I suspect this is very 'optimistic'

Whats the 'real world' figure??

I have a manual 5 speed 330i Tourer, this returns 25mpg round town and a touch over 30mpg on a run (33mpg if gentle, 31 more common), you can get it down to 23mpg round town with a heavy foot though...

My '03 manual vert is currently returning 28.5 mpg, with hard-top fitted. Mix of m'way/country lanes.

I get about 20mpg around town, and low 30s on a motorway run.

Just under 30 mpg out of my E46 330 manual convertible. 10 mile commute on A roads with a bit of stop start in the last few miles.

Never managed over 30 yet but hoping for that when I take it to Germany in May.

E46 330 coupe, currently averaging 26mpg with 80% b road use.

I have one here in Spain, on a run will do 34 mpg at sensible motorway speeds, commuting to work, 17kms each way averages 26.4 mpg, 330 ci sport cab manual box.

thanks all - I'm encouraged! The car I was looking at is a 6 speed manual E46.

Im not sure its directly comparable to a 330 coupe because the convertible is heavier but even with a hardtop on it sounds reasonable!!
