Oil Filler Cap

Anybody got an Orange Pil Filler for a Chimaera 400 1998. Would like to replace mine as the orange bit has cracked.

Why not take all the orange stuff off and polish the metal? - apparently it looks the biz!

or Leven do a range of suitable replacements

On my 4.0 the plastic part of the cap didn't split; on the 500 it does. I think it must be the extra heat.
I'm sure if you replace it, it will split again. Taking the orange bit off and polishing the remainder looks quite good and saves you £30+.

Can you still get it off easily without the orange bit?
Our Griffs orange bit has split.
