Shocking news, only 36 and not many knew that he was ill in the first place

Was a very good player whose career never reached the heights it could have because of injury and such a shame he had to retire so young

Brain tumour apparently. Turns out that was what had been causing him all these troubles which brought about his retirement, but it never showed up at the time

Always tragic, more so in somebody so young. R.I.P.

In my Sisters case it was a tumour in the top of the brain stem which was undetected for some years.
My Sister was 25 years old when she succumbed. R.I.P. dear Sister.

Amen.

I remember meeting Dean at The Dell not long after his arrival to replace Ken Monkou. Huge guy and came across as a lovely chap.

Very sad news and out of the blue.

He lives just up the road. Leaves a young son.

Poor kid.
