Mini Challenge Car
Discussion
Have been wondering for a while, if any one has used one of these as a weekend toy?
An ex race car can be had for a few grand more than a road going version. They must be a bit of fun, and are already road legal.
Any experiences people can provide? Are they a nightmare to insure?
I imagine they are compromised on the road as with most track cars. Im not seriously thinking about buying one, but the idea does interest me & would like to learn more.

Was there not a Mini race series that did hillclimbs as part of it, pretty sure they were road legal.
Saw one at a supercar show last year go round an admittingly short tight track & humble Ferraris/lambos etc
