This advert has been flagged on quite a few forums. Silly price (IMHO, of course), seemingly partly justified by the £72k restoration, and a bit more for the provenance.
Low emission engine! I thought that mildly amusing. I wonder what the initial thought process was, 'Let's get a big V8 4x4; oh, it only does 12-15mpg, let's do our bit for the environment and get a low emissions one' biggrinbiggrin.

I'm sure it's a lovely car and, provenance or not, I would quite happily have it; there's still something quite appealing about the early 2-doors, without all of the electronics of the newer ones. Just the minor issue of the price. However, I have no doubt that it will sell.

Charlie had all his cars converted to run on Montrachet, so maybe this is what they are refering to.

I wonder how much it owes him? Some tidy margins in that one!

The car sold at H&H Auction twice; 2003 for £2600 & 2004 for £3000;

It does look nice though!

Well, DonkeyApple, if you are not prepared to pay considerably more than that for the Supercharged ultimate 3-door you were talking about you had a wasted journey! wink

The problem will be getting it photographed with Charlie onboard so I can maintain the value biggrin

I drove the 3 door for the first time since having it collected back in Jan last week. I've been in better handling and stopping rubber dinghies in a head wind!!!!!

Ah, no problems there, but is it structurally sound? smash

All fully galvanised and in theory yes, very.

Quite a bit of body bling to be removed and a change of colour, but in theory the work is 'just' the mechanicals and interior.
