I'm looking at the Optima Red Top batteries for my vette, can someone tell me the difference between the RTS, RTC or RTU types?

Thanks in advance.

Erm, one is taller, one is heavier and essentially they're all the same?

Used to run one on a car with a lot of audio in it. Never let me down.

Hi G dont go overboard on a pricy battery.the new cars need the new age batteries with the calcium and silver content for the electronics etc. a good bosch or such like will keep the vette going. lack of use kills any wet cell battery as they sulphate up. a good electronic smart trickle charger is a godd investment, or like me i have a solar panel connected all the time the db7 is sitting in garage. H idea

No probs Hugh, I did just that and got a good one from Pentland Components for a lot less, but a good battery nevertheless. All ready to go for startup tomorrow after repairing the inlet manifold with all that that entails, no big deal just nuts and bolts and re-setting the distributor etc.
