Where to go?

I am hopeless traveller. I hate flying and travelling. However, a big anniversairy has come up and we are going to leave the children with grandparents and have a couple of nights away.

I have a passport and would quite like to go to France. As it's only 2 nights, I wantthe travel time to be low. I t has to be somewhere really quiet as I will want to sleep lots, good food would be a bonus. As would a spa!

Any sensible ideas on where to start looking? (April so very very busy)
