And I dont mean 3 o'clock....
Yesterday there was a loud screeeeetch noise closely followed by the temperature gauge going into uncharted territory. Roadside check revealed the cooling fan was seized
Still trying to locate a new motor
but of course it seems that you have to buy a complete fan assembly.
While searching, I discovered the spec sheet for the original fan (Davies Craig DC31) and noticed the comment "average life - 1500hrs @ 80°c"
So thats 12 years and 120,000km of Mediteranean weather and its dead..... maybe I got my moneys worth after all?
Ah well, back to looking for a new fan motor or maybe I should just find a modern equivalent like Tripac?.
Any ideas?
