I seem to recall it for sale on Pistonheads not long ago somewhere in the Wales area, if its the same one i think it was registered already as a total loss.......Cant be defo though



Ask where the last owner lived and how long he had it........


My last pre-cat was registered as a cat d, fully repaired and back on the road though , and i gave £6k for it, so you've not a lot to play with.

ah right interesting, for £6k I take it yours was already repaired? Might be pushing it a bit, I thought they'd fetch more than that even being a cat d, not looking to make a profit mind just after a little project, it might be a little more expensive than I thought to repair?

I called this guy last week as his classified listing was for £3295 and the text along side said he wanted £3695??
He said it was sold.

I googled a bit and found an add for the same car K17TVR with a slavage dealer asking for £5995 and assumed it was a new ad as it appeared to have less number plate on the front? So this could have been an old ad?

Now it doesnt include the number plate and the price has gone up? Is it really a good car and can it be reused on the road?

Yes mine was already repaired at £6k, i didnt mind as i wanted an insight to the Griffith ownership, i sold it a year later it did take a while, got £6250 back but struggled for weeks.


My second pre-cat has cost me nearly double, but is ten times the previous Griff......

I saw it at £3295 i was going to offer him £2500 as i knew where a good shell was for £2500, would have been worth it or even broke it for parts for mine!!!!!!

Now its gone up as you said and no number plate ???????????????????????

Im looking for a project for a trackday car, so more interested in the mechanical condition than the interior etc. Am i going to find a fun project for around 3 grand that wont cost more than the same again to get it trackable??
