New to Xbox 360.. what game should i get

I have recently found my xbox that i had before my PS3 took over. I have since hooked it up to the TV in the bedroom as a DVD player but might as well get some fun from it ! What games should i get ?

I like FPS and what something that is online play.. I have black ops on the PS3 and tempted by MW2 but did that to death on the PS3 as well...

Halo Reach or Battlefield Bad Company 2. Currently on offer on Zavvi for £17 iirc

gears of war 2 - something u've not had on ps3

esp with the 3rd installment coming soon it's already getting busy with people wanting to get some practice in.

Get Battlefield:Bad Company 2.. You'll wonder why you ever played any of the COD games

And the fact theres atleast 7 of us who regularly play you'll always have good online matches.

Get Fallout 3 - Game Of The Year edition for about £10, and kiss goodbye to any social life. Amazing game. Finish that, then get New Vegas.

Different. Faster paced and shields mean one shot kills are unusual. Lots of different game types.

Reach has an excellent campaign, and still plenty of online play. I've actually started playing it again and it's good brain off stuff.

Fallout 3, as mentioned, for all your RPG/FPS needs. It is an absolute time sink.
Gears of War (1 and 2) should be inexpensive, and lots of fun.
I would also recommend Red Dead Redemption for all your "grand theft horsie" needs. Splendid stuff and a very strong lead character.

And Bayonetta, for all your "what the fk?" requirements.

I know you've got BOps on the PS but worth getting it for the XB and joining the PH clan for a night of carnage, laughs and occasional fubars

It's not as instantly rewarding as CoD games, depends on your point of view whether you think this is a good thing or not though.....

I am currently enjoying Red Dead Redemption.

My top (as in: always coming back to):

Racing:
- Dirt
- PGR
- Burnout (Endless fun in singleplayer, could last you 3 lifetimes if you add multiplayer)

FPS:
- Halo 3 (think a bit "Unreal Tournament": very well balanced weapons, fast paced action, but halo has a better backstory)
- MW2

Oh, and you need a headset, all multiplayer is infinitely better with a headset. Also check the PH wiki with gamer tags per game. Mine is my user name.
