Hi

Anyone got any good recommendations for the following;

1) source of part number (software / online)?
2) diagnostic software?
3) good suppliers of parts?

Thanks in advance..

Classid Scoobs (pre 01) can be diagnosed by using the ECU connectors under the steering binnacle. Unplug the two black ones, plug together the two green ones and an LED on the dash will flash a sequence to tell you of any errors. Post 01 (Bugeye and beyond) then you need software or a proper ODBII device. Start reading here.....

Hi, I've recently bought an Impreza Bugeye. For diagnostics all you need is an OBD2 cable (£8.50 on ebay) and then download a programme called ecuexplorer (free) and you're good to go. It's very simple to use but as said above on a classic you can just connect two cables underneath the dash.
