Discussion
Louis Saha smashed his 458 up last night. Here's the story:

Does anyone here have any pics - there are eagle-eyed PH'ers all over the place normally!

that's a dangerous road for 'ballers in their ferrari
giving it the beans through the tunnel and running out of talent?
ooops

ETA - didn't that greasy cockspanner Ronaldo smash his 599 up in exactly the same place?
see the link above yours

I was a little too hasty to scan read and then post what utter talentless knobshiners premiership footballers appear to be. I'm sure you will all forgive me that slight transgression.

Friend of a friend was sadly killed in (if memory serves) a Maserati there a few years ago. I use the road all the time and can't understand how so many people crash there.
Same here. It's a very slight bend. I've driven it (slightly) over the speed limit and can't see how anybody has a problem. Though I admit the 458 can probably hit higher speeds than I can!A number of times though i've seen a police car parked at the exit of the tunnel which tends to put me off speeding there.
Are people somehow translating the ferrari gumph about stability/traction/launch control and coming to the conclusion these cars are uncrashable? "Ooh i've got the computer in 'race' there's no way it'll let me crash..."
It's just that this bears similarities to the one in Marlow last summer, in that it just leaves you thinking "how did he manage to stack it there?". That was a slightly wet road too....

I reckon it's to do with the location. Bear in mind, it's literally under the flightpath of planes landing and taking off. I reckon there's alot of kerosene (or other plane fuel) all over that area, which makes it ultra slippy particularly when it's wet.Similar to Donington Park which is right under the flightpath for East Midlands. That's slippy as hell in the wet, more than normal.
