What Weekend Toy 10 - 12k
Discussion
Fancy a change and something a bit cheaper to keep on the road. Don't really like a car that feels like its driving for me and I spend most of my time blating down B roads.
So what do you think?
Cars I keep coming back to is the Elise and VX220 Turbo, although Cerberas to seem to be on the mind (although not sure about it being cheaper).
Anything considered no badge snobbery here although needs to have that special something about it so no bland euro boxes :P

I'll save a few people typing and say 'mx5/caterfield and the rest on fuel/holiday'
How about something from the 70s/80s that won't be all electric helpers? Porsche of some kind?
ETA - beaten to it!

Although buying a Caterham won't leave you any spare for fuel/holiday.

z3 m coupe
320 brake, 0-60 5 seconds, classic insurance, still modern enough and won't drop in value
Pfffttt....320 brake, 0-60 5 seconds, classic insurance, still modern enough and won't drop in value
Aprilia RSV4:
180 Brake, 0-60 2.8 seconds, Insurance about 30p, one of the most modern superbikes and will hardly drop in value anytime soon. (well, if you compare its depreciation against a car

Weekend Toy?

DO IT!
To the bikers,
Please read the whole OP and not just the parts that say:
Howzat? I seem to remember it's the straight 6 from the M3.
Or on a slightly different note?
