What size thread?

Greetings

I'm in the process of putting my S2 back together and have hit a small problem. I need to clean up the threads on the small diameter bolts welded on the chassis at the back (it's a long story which has to do with galvanising and more hassle than it was ever worth!). One is for the fuel tank level earth and the other is for the rear brake tee. - see photos, they're more or less in the centre of each one. Does any one know what the thread size is please?





I've looked in the S series bolts thread and couldn't find them there, so if anyone knows I'd be very grateful to find out. It might also be good to add to the bolts list too?

On my S1 they are M6, thye look the same and are in the same place.

Earth stud on mine is M8, if brake tee one is smaller that will be M6

Hi Liam, thanks for the loan offer. I do infact have a set all of my own, purchased from a fine German discount supermarket some time ago. They work surprisingly well for the price...

The chassis won't be staying white for long, so make the most of it! I shall be spraying it with liberal amounts of waxoyl before the body goes back on. I really don't want to be doing this again!!
