anyone in the double glazing game

... or know a lot about it ?
How long does it take to build windows ? We have a company who say that they can have the windows built within a week of having the measurements made. There are 28 windows in total, all normal size nothing overly large or small but still need to be measured.
is that possible ?

I'm not in the trade but I've seen "how it's made"!
Totally possible, the frames take seconds to cut and are ultrasonically welded, the entire frame in one go in seconds. The glass will be cut elsewhere in the factory and takes a couple of minutes to make a panel, frankly they should be able to do it in a day if they are willing to stop all other work! I would say a week is a respectable realistic time to produce the number of windows you want and to correct any problems that may occur!

As above. As long as the manufacturer we use gets our order by 2pm on Monday they will be delivered to me by 7.30 on Friday morning. When I measured one incorrectly I rang them first thing on a wed and by thevtime I had arrived atvtge factory three hours later it had been manufactured and wrapped. Excellent service
