Trackers and car insurance
Discussion
I have been with a certain insurance company (That may have at one time sold Lucheon Vouchers.)for several years and always found them pretty competitive, efficient and fluent English spreakers.
However, just had my renewal for £500+ which was a £150 rise from last year. I went online and did a quote as a new punter to find it came down to £311. I called them to find out what was going on, (bit miffed as you can imagine) to be told that the lowere quote was possible as they required a tracker to be fitted.
Now I am running a 4 year old GTI and I cant see that theft is a huge problem, but that sort of discount for having one fitted seems fairly attractive.
So I went online (as you do) and found there are loads of what look like portable trackers made by Snooper etc. for about £120.
My questions are:
1/. Would they suffice?
2/.Are they any good?
3/. Any other ideas?
