All,

In an effort to get out of my Tamora during an M.O.T, I think the technician has pressed every button on the radio panel, including the above. This would normally be reset by arming and disarming with the fob but I fear that as the button is hardly ever used it's probably stuck in the "On" state. Thus at the moment the boot and doors won't open from the outside ; rather - on one occasion after getting home, the passenger door and boot did respond but now nothing does. Sadly the C-Tek is in the boot. Have sprayed the button with some WD40. Matt as Sebring has been very very helpful with diagnosis here but I also wondered if anyone else has had similar situation out of curiosity.

No, but I will email how you can pop the boot open easily.

Hi chaps, thanks for the response

Shep - yes very much appreciated if you could. Need it on charge.

RM - If you mean the button on the far left of the radio, yes but it doesn't really give when I press it. I think he has pressed it in an effort to get out of the car as I was called to assist him opening the door as he couldn't get out. But I don't know how hard he's pressed it. Arming and disarming should cancel that state but I have tried and it hasn't. It'll have to wait to tomorrow now though as I don't want the alarm going off at this time of night :-(. I have emailed them to ask if he can remember what happend when he was in the car. I actually got in the car and started it for him to go into the bay - 45 minutes later the damn thing doesn't work. A bit peed off really :-(
