So after progressing and through all of the other rounds, i've managed to get my college to the final of the British Schools Karting Championship, held at Whilton Mill this saturday. Having never driven the circuit before, i've watched countless youtube videos etc, but are there any particular corners I should watch out for? Line advice for if/when the circuit is wet? Any advice appreciated! Thanks guys!

I haven't got a circuit map to help you out, but...

If wet, the new tarmac in the middle of the circuit has got ALOT of grip. The final corner has the grip around the outside (until track is damp, then back on normal line). You can carry lots of speed into the first corners after the start - its flat in a prokart even in the wet. The long right hander onto the straight has differing levels of grip that only you can judge when you drive it. its too easy to lose all the speed for the straight if you back off - it opens out, so you are not going to run out of room on the exit.

Fairly obviously - break in a straight line and dont be scared to put on full lock. The grip will soon arrive.

its a very quick circuit, quicker than you initially think. Send me a PM for anything else.
