Car shows apart from BBWF!

Hi

I know BBWF is the most important "Wedge" show of the year, but there are quite a few other shows during the year which some of us attended. I seem to spend a lot of weekends during the summer driving to and from them!

Do you think we should have a list up on the forum of shows which you could put your name against if your are going or might if others are?

For example my first show this year is on the MAY Bank Holiday weekend (30th April, 1st and 2nd of May) at Rushden Northants.

I am going to be there for all three days this year "Spreading the Wedge and TVR WORD"
It's a great show with lot's to see other than Cars and great chance to meet like minded people!

The Rusty Nail Run, not a show but a hell of a weekend.

Big Northern Gathering, cracking weekend.

Fastlane, amazing cars expertly organized great location.

There's the 'Big Yorkshire Breakfast'...couple of times a year at Malton N.Yorks, with a run out. Some fantastic exotics there.





As well as shows there's sporting events like Harewood Hillclimb near Leeds, with TVR classes.



Also going to be TVR drag racing at York Raceway later in the year.





Usually in November, there is the (TVR) Whitby Goth Weekend run across the North York Moors.



- And not forgetting the TVR race series (Tuscan Dunlop Challenge) in which several Wedges and Wedge forum members compete.

Theres the bromley pageant near me in June which has got bigger every year...

Although the TVR section needs a little more support..Will be going this year.

Hartlepool Marina Sunday 17th April lovely setting great turnout. That Jag XJ220 was there last year. Ill be there hopefully with the wedge. I dont have any pictures of the show but is very good.

Tatton Park in Cheshire has two shows in June and August.

There's always Chatsworth. Run out on the Saturday (7/5/11) and the BIGGEST TVR gathering of the year on the Sunday(8/5/11).
