I use main dealer as i may swap it sometime in the next few years and it has full dealer service history. For none service jobs I use a TVR independent specialist.

As opposed to using me and a spanner, yes. But not a franchised dealer. Silly prices and by most accounts not desperately good, IMO.

My Chim didn't have a warranty so I took it to an independent; Joospeed.

Everything on the Tuscan has been done by the factory and recently a main dealer as it is still under warranty. If/When I have any upgrades I'll take it to Joospeed without question.

I do as much as I can myself. Mine's an early Chim.

Fun with spanners is all part of the "TVR hobby" for me.

I would do less myself if I had a TVR engined car mind!!!!!

I go to Independents such as JOOSPEED AND RT RACING SHEFFIELD. Both fantastic. Although James Agger was great when he worked at TMS Melton Mobray and sold me my car. Chimaera S3TAY

If you've got the skills/tools etc then doing it yourself is a good way to save money - but (tedious negative mode on) what happens when a prospective buyer says 'Has it got a FSH?'

I do small jobs myself. Big stuff requiring ramps and services I leave to Julian Blackbarrow of Brooklands Sports in Biddenden, kent - top bloke, independent and reasonable prices.
